Lil Yachty And His Crew Take Over A Desert Trailer Park In New ‘Count Me In’ Video

Fresh off the release of Lil Boat 2, Lil Yachty has dropped a desert-set video for album standout “Count Me In.”

In the Nick Roney-directed vid, Yachty ventures to the sands with his Sailing Team crew, which apparently now includes Danielle Bregoli, a.k.a. Bhad Bhabie, a.k.a. the “Cash Me Outside” girl. She appears around the 36-second mark, squatting next to Yachty outside of a bright yellow trailer. Guess her cameo hints at an official Yachty co-sign?

Elsewhere in the grainy vid, there’s a guy swinging a samurai sword, a couple boxers duking it out, and, for some disturbing reason, a cat hanging from a tree branch. Meanwhile, Yachty models his finest pair of overalls while he and his crew take over a skate park and drive ATVs through the sand dunes. Just your average desert hang.

Lil Yachty Needs To Release His Other Collabs With Chance The Rapper

Lil Yachty might have the best the verse on Chance the Rapper’s 2016 album, Coloring Book. Chance thought as much. In an #AskYachty Twitter Q&A on Thursday night (March 15), Lil Boat revealed he has unreleased music with the rapper in the stash.

When a fan asked if Yachty would ever work with the Chicago rapper again, he had a simple answer.

“Got two unreleased songs with chance boom!” Yachty wrote.

When or where those Chance the Rapper collaborations come out is any guess. However, Lil Yachty did discuss with MTV News his upcoming tapes with Takeoff, Gucci Mane, and the rest of Migos.

“Takeoff is awesome,” Yachty said. “Gotta catch him when I can catch him. You know, it’s very hard, but when I do catch him, it’s awesome. He’s so funny. He pull me to the side all the time and he checks on me. He’s just an intelligent guy.”

“That’s very soon actually,” the Quality Control rapper revealed. “That’s very soon. Like After Lil Boat 2 drops, not long after.”

Yachty also used the Q&A to share that he didn’t mind missing out on Drake and Travis Scott’s video game session and his favorite lyric. Read the rest of Boat’s answers on his Twitter here.

Diplo Whips Up A Tasty Collab With Lil Yachty & Santigold On “Worry No More”

At this point, are you even surprised when you see pizza in a visual involving Lil Yachty? It’s all I ever expect from the rapper now, but he decided to switch it up in the music video for Diplo’s new single “Worry No More.” This time, he takes on the role of a professional baker with help from cake master Santigold who is also featured on the bouncy track. Any worries that I might have had previously evaporated the moment I spotted the first stack of cakes on the table—I really need to stop watching stuff like this when I’m hungry.

I am highly aware that Lot$ O’ Cake isn’t a real bakery, but Diplo should totally consider opening a pop up because I would literally buy all of the treats that they made in this video. This delicious track is fresh off the Mad Decent producer’s California EP which is slated to drop on March 23. Try not to get the grumbles while looking at all the sweets in the video below.

Lil Yachty Is A Master Pastry Chef In New Diplo Video

After devoting his recent music video excursions to letting DRAM be dapper amid beautiful desert panorama, being a perfect piano and dance partner for MØ, and literally chilling atop a Zamboni with Tory Lanez and Cashmere Cat, Diplo has done the natural thing for his latest: given the spotlight over to Lil Yachty and Santigold.

In the new Daniel Pappas-directed clip for “Worry No More,” the pair are pastel-clad star bakers, sprinkling flour and sugar and making the most resplendent-looking doughnuts and pastries you can imagine.

Behind them at one point lies a tray of doughnuts decorated with all sorts of miracle items, like cereal bits, cookies, and of course, frosting. I am hungry as I write this. (Also, someone please inform Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood that this video exists.)

The song itself is as colorful and sweet as the video, and on the chorus, Yachty delivers a good mantra that we should all remember as we march into the weekend and beyond: “So catch me if you can / I’m chasing after my dreams.”

“Worry No More” is reportedly set to be included on Diplo’s upcoming California EP. For his sake, I hope more pastry-themed music vids lie in all of our futures.
