Savemoney ‘Still Alive’ And Kickin’ In New Video

At this point we hope that you’re familiar with the Savemoney movement brewing out in Chicago. Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa have been shining the light on their squad with Acid Rap and Innanetape, but there’s still plenty of talent left to showoff in the crew. The new video for “Still Alive” is proof. The visuals feature Joey Purp and Kami de Chukwu (with plenty of guest appearances from Chance, Vic, producers Thelonius Martin and Stix, etc) and the back story is a pretty interesting one too.

Apparently the clip was originally scheduled to drop in 2013, but that was held up thanks to a robbery at gunpoint during the shoot. Yikes. All is well now, though. Check it out above.

Drake’s ‘Worst Behavior’ Video: His Father, Juicy J And More Cameos

By Sowmya Krishnamurthy

After teasing us for weeks with photos from the set, Drake goes big in his new video for “Worst Behavior.” In step with the anthemic track from Nothing Was the Same , the X-directed visual takes it back to the people who loved the Toronto rapper from the start with features from Drizzy’s family and friends. In case you missed it, these are the best guest appearances in “Worst Behavior.”

Dennis Graham: Drake no doubt gets his musical talent from his father’s side of the family. His Dad, Dennis Graham, shows off his vocal chops at the start of the video by performing in the famed Memphis studio of Al Green. For those who don’t know, the legendary Willie Mitchell (also pictured in the video) was Drake’s uncle and collaborated with the likes of Al Green, Syl Johnson and O.V. Wright.

Juicy J and Project Pat: Who knew Juicy J and Project Pat were really comedians? The Three 6 Mafia rappers have a little sketch comedy moment with two of Drake’s friends, OVO Ryan and OB O’Brien. “Shut the f— up!” Juicy says at one point, a throw to his famous ad-lib. Project Pat tries to keep a straight face when he’s called “Paddy Cakes.” Hilarious.

OVO Boys: It wouldn’t be a video without Drake’s friends flying down from Toronto. OVO (October’s Very Own) crew members OB O’Brien and OVO Ryan appear alongside Juicy J in the aforementioned comedy routine. If these guys look familiar, it’s because both were also seen in visuals for “HYFR” and “Started from the Bottom.” In addition to being the crew’s resident funny man, OB has become an OVO team mascot of sorts with his new owl costume.

Crew Love: Never one to forget his boys, Drake has other OVO members like Oliver (his manager) and CJ appear in the video as well. Peep the last scene, in which the rapper and his huge entourage of friends are walking around town. Now you know why Drake needs “No New Friends.”
