The Vans Vault presents its first collaboration with the Ohio-based Sole Classics. Owner Dionte Johnson, believes the shoe designing creative process has lost its meaning and has breathed life back into it with this rendition of the Era. The “Carmen” blends colors that may seem incompatible, but together they represent Ohio and its cultural history. Every facet of the shoe symbolizes the state in some way: from the solid red sole, to the white canvas upper that fades to a golden yellow, to the football leather heel tab, to the green and navy laces, and even the orange Vans tag. The shoes will be available in store only at Sole Classics on May 25th in limited quantities and online at Kingsrowe. Deluxe x Vans Era 10th Anniversary Collection Preview

Deluxe and Vans preview a pair of Eras from their 10th Anniversary Collection. Featuring a streamlined silhouette, the simple monotone upper is made of a hairy suede that is contrasted by white laces. A light brown leather patch accents the heel portion of the ankle closure. Priced at ¥13,650 JPY (approximately $ 132 USD), the shoes will come in black and navy editions and are now available for pre-order over at ZOZOTOWN.

Vault by Vans brings forth the next installment of Original Classics as a tribute to two iconic low-tops, the Era and Style 36. The OG Era LX follows the same design specs as its first run in 1976 for three styles featuring the archived “Palm Leaf” print. Vibrant color combinations in Navy/Green, Peach/Antique White and Pool Blue/Black reflect the edgy skate vibe of the ‘80s. The OG Style 36 LX is reintroduced for a duo of “Two Tone” offerings in Classic Blue/Dandelion and Orange Rust/Coconut Shell. First seen in 1978 with the Vans sidestripe, the Style 36 is the original rendering of the Old Skool. The “Palm Leaf” editions of the OG Era LX and “Two Tone” makes of the OG Style 36 LX arrive this June at key Vault by Vans stockists.

A tribute to the brand’s iconic 1978 low-top model that may be better known as the Old Skool, this collection reworks the “jazz striped” fan-favorite with a duo of two tone offerings in classic blue/dandelion and orange rust/coconut shell. Be on the lookout for the Vans Vault 2013 Spring OG Style 36 LX Two Tone models to hit select Vault by Vans stockists sometime in June for $ 70 USD a piece.

Crafted by the only Vault account in Ohio, this limited edition release features a dyed canvas upper with leather detailing on the lining and heel tab. Co-branding tags one insole, while the other features the mantra ‘Never Give up Your Dreams.’ This Vans Vault Era collaboration is slated to release at Sole Classics on May 25th.

Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault TH Revere Hi LX “Suede” Pack

Longtime designer and collaborator Taka Hayashi realigns with Vans Vault to rework the TH Revere Hi LX with a limited release “Suede” Pack. This time around the designer looks to integrate a premium suede upper into his signature model, a material that’s is seen very often on Vans’s iconic Sk8-Hi silhouette. Additional details include leather stripes, vulcanized toe cap, nylon laces and subtle Taka Hayashi branding on each pair. Available this June at select Vault stockists for $ 150 USD each, the TH Revere Hi LX “Suede” Pack offers two separate colorways in black and bossa nova.
