Kendrick Lamar Is The Best Hype Man On Jay Rock’s Triumphant ‘Win’

TDE is currently in the midst of The Championship Tour, and they finally have their rallying cry. “Win” sees Jay Rock riding over a soaring beat produced by Vinylz and Boi-1Da. Over booming horns Rock raps, You either with me or against me, hoe / You either with me or / Win win, win, win, win,” as Kendrick Lamar delivers energetic adlibs.

“Win” is the second single from Jay Rock’s upcoming album after “King’s Dead.” In a January interview on Real 92.3, the OG member of TDE gave an update on his album’s release and the 2016 motorcycle accident that delayed it.

“The album is done. I just had a minor little setback,” Rock said. “As far as those who don’t know I was in an accident, you know? I was just healing up, and when I healed up, I just locked in the studio.”

The 90059 artist then explained that once samples are cleared, and the business side of the process is done, fans will get the project.

“It’s already done,” he continued. “It’s mixed up. It’s ready to go. It’s the business side as far as getting things cleared and things of that nature, but it’s ready to go.”

Until then it looks like Jay Rock is getting comfortable with the concept of winning. When is the ring ceremony?

LeBron Rocks Nike Air Force 1 “More Than An Athlete” Makers Custom Before All-Star Game

Still incensed by the comments Fox News’ Laura Ingraham made about him, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James sent a direct shot to her choice words with his choice of footwear before the 2018 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday.

Wanting to let Ingraham and his other critics know that he won’t “shut up and dribble,” James wore a custom pair of Nike Air Force 1 that had “More Than An Athlete” written one one side, deriving from the 90/10 custom creations from Nike’s Makers of the Game space in LA.

Peep photo of James’ custom AF1 below.

Kicks On Court: Amir Johnson Rocks All-Red Jordan Spizike iD

Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Amir Johnson and the rest of the Raptors are making strong cases for 2014 Kicks On Court Champ honors. Terrence Ross has rocked OG XXs, DeMar DeRozan has donned “Doenbecher” 3s, and Kyle Lowry even pitched his PEAKs for retro Jordans. While those all impress, Johnson has stood out by sporting the “OVO” Air Jordan 12 PE and now an all-red Jordan Spizike iD. Set to elephant print and dipped in the toro tone, this pair propelled Amir to a 17 point, nine rebound and two block performance in a road win in New Orleans.

Over in Dallas, Monta Ellis elected a Jordan Spizike iD of his own, set to his team’s tones. P.J. Tucker pulled out another pair from the Prelude Pack and Tony Wroten rocked all-red retros. See who wore what in today’s Kicks On Court.

Kicks On Court: Tony Wroten Rocks “French Blue” Air Jordan 12

76ers guard Tony Wroten has been relentless with his kicks on court this season, and as he stated in a recent conversation with him, “this is only the beginning.” In Philadelphia’s first loss of the season last night, Wroten brought out the 2004-released “French Blue” Air Jordan 12.

The 12 is one of the most worn Jordan silhouettes in the NBA, but the French Blue colorway is rarely seen. In the past five years, only Nate Robinson (2010-2011) and Derrick Williams (2012-2013) have rocked this shoe on an NBA court.

For Wroten, this marks the second Air Jordan 12 he has worn this season with the other being a custom designed by Mache. View these kicks, plus Draymond Green’s 90s classic and Andre Iguodala’s Hyperfuse Low PEs, below.
