Pusha T Reveals Why Kanye West Calls Him In The Middle Of The Night

Kanye West’s brand of leadership is very Michael Scott-esque. Yeezy seems like a kindhearted and familial boss who means well, but ultimately revels in the unbridled chaos of it all. In an interview with Power 105.1′s Angie Martinez, Pusha T opened up about his new album, DAYTONA, a potential tour with Nas, and updates on the rest of the G.O.O.D. Music roster. However, the most fascinating portion of the conversation arrived when Pusha described the challenges of working with West during the album making process.

“He [Kanye] changed my artwork last night at 1 a.m.,” Push said. “He changed my artwork at 1 a.m. ’cause he wasn’t feeling it.”

According to the G.O.O.D. Music president, the artwork for his album was completed and agreed upon by all parties. However, at the last minute Kanye decided the photos weren’t exactly what the world needed to see.

“[At] 1 a.m. my phone rings, no caller ID,” he continued. “‘Hey, yeah, I think we should change the artwork. I like this other artwork.’ Now this other artwork is 85 grand, right. I said, hey, I don’t want to pay for that and I wasn’t even going to ask you to pay for that. We picked what we picked. It’s here. It’s ready. [He said,] ‘No this is what people need to see to go along with this music. I’mma pay for that.’”

Kanye is reportedly producing four more albums in the coming weeks. Guess Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, and Nas are going to be getting a lot of early morning phone calls.

Cardi B Reveals The Sex Of Her Baby And 4 More Juicy Revelations From New Interview

Cardi B has always been candid about the pressures of fame, and now the “Be Careful” singer is opening up about potentially going to therapy.

“People used to be like, ‘maybe you should do therapy,’” Cardi stated. “And I used to be like, uh-uh, colored folks, we don’t need none of that. We just go to church, and we pray about it. And then it’s just like… I think it’s a little bit more than that. I don’t want people to think I’m not enjoying this moment, [but] it’s just a lot to handle.”

Kanye West Reveals New adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 for Fall/Winter

The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 is apparently the next big push from Kanye West and his growing YEEZY company. To no surprise, the man behind his nicknamesake brand already has a pair in a colorway we’ve never seen.

Approved for Q4 — Holiday Season or Fall/Winter depending on the drop date — as said by West, this grey and gum makeup sees the updated chunky runner remaining muted and tonal. This is in line with other 700 V2s we’ve seen on or from Kanye, appearing in White/Grey and Black/Grey thus far.

Sporting the same sole tooling as its predecessor with a slightly less aggressive upper, preview the self explantatory style below and expect these to hit shelves near the end of the year.

Kanye West Reveals Original adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Sample

Recent as they may be, 2015’s adidas Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” serves as a classic to some. An event by most measures, the quite and comfy kicks caused quite a stir with many mimics to come.

Not a mimic but rather the origin, Kanye West took to Twitter to reveal an original sample of said shoe in on-foot fashion.

To even the obsessed eye, differences are slim. The shaping on the sample proves slightly higher yet chunkier, while black collar trim and a more pronounced print/lighter base tone are apparent. In addition, the laces also sport reverse contrast with black playing the base and grey serving as the subtle contrast.

Cardi B Proudly Reveals Her Album Is Dropping Very Soon

Last night (March 11), Cardi B proved once again that her charisma could take over any award show she goes too. Cardi started the iHeartRadio Music Awards off with a performance of “Bodak Yellow” and “Bartier Cardi” before walking away with the Best New Artist award. During her speech, she gave fans an update on when they can expect her long-awaited debut.

“My album will be coming in April,” said Cardi. “Yes, sir, April. Stay tuned, motherfuckers.”

The “Motorsport” star also took time out of her acceptance speech to thank her publicist, label, and fiancé Offset. However, it wouldn’t be a Cardi speech without a little bit of bite for her detractors.

“I want to thank my fans, Bardi Gang, because even when I’m wrong, they be like, ‘She’s still right,’” said Cardi. “I want to thank my haters too, because they be downloading my stuff so they can hear it and talk crap about it, but it benefits me.”

In a Beats 1 Radio interview with Julie Adenuga, the “Finesse” rapper described why she will always rap about her haters.

“I’m always gonna talk about them because I hate them,” said Cardi. “I hate y’all. I wish y’all catch something. … I’m not too cool to tell your fucking ass something. Like, how your fucking square ass is gonna talk about me?”

Guess we’ll have to wait until April to see what the anti-Cardi brigade has to say about an entire album of slander.

Jordan Brand Reveals Women’s Summer Lineup

Getting straight to the point, it is no secret that the ladies are a huge focus for brands this year and we are already seeing some major campaigns taking shape. Jordan Brand hit off the year with the very successful AJ1 Season of Her Collection, a luxury, yet street-ready take on a classic silhouette with that feminine touch. Closely followed by The One Reimagined campaign, we then saw 14 female designers come together to re-imagine the Air Force 1 and Jordan 1.

With momentum behind them, Jordan Brand has announced their next line up for the ladies this summer. We see more iterations of the AJ1 as well as some new players – the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 11 Low, Air Jordan 1 Low Lifted, Air Jordan 1 High Zip, Jordan Modero 1, Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 1 High Premium.

The summer line up sees a heavy focus on neutral tones and a natural aesthetic, with some tweaks to a couple of the usual details — thicker soles, no laces, more zips, heavy stitching and more.

There’s definitely a style and specific angle that JB feels appeals best to the female market. It’s classy yet street, which is a fair tactic to take.

Some may have concerns that maybe this pattern of products we are seeing is a little too feminine, or should I say obviously feminine. This soft and sultry aesthetic almost tells us what we should like as a woman, whereas a lot of us just want some fire colourways and creativity, equally fly to what we see the men get.

With all that said, it’s exciting to see Jordan Brand reaching out their hand to more and more silhouettes. Perhaps Air Max next?

How well do you think brands are doing to feed the female market? Are you a fan of Jordan Brand’s latest releases? Let’s talk, hit me up on Twitter to discuss this hot topic.

Peace.

adidas Reveals 4D-Printed Futurecraft for Fall/Winter 2017 Release

When adidas first begin to dabble with 3D-printed sneakers in several years ago, the very thought of such an innovation almost seemed unthinkable. Fast forward to years later and the German-based brand is creating the future in modern times, now presenting their Futurecraft model with 4D printing technology.

Working in conjunction with Silicon Valley-based tech company Carbon, adidas creates the first performance footwear fueled by light and oxygen through a remarkable new process called Digital Light Synthesis. Carbon describes the innovative procedure as the use of digital light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to generate high-performance, durable polymeric products. The Futurecraft 4D is adidas’ initial application with Digital Light Synthesis, and a massive step in the direction athlete data-driven design and manufacturing.

Adidas will initially release 300 pairs of the Futurecraft 4D for friends and family only. They’ll follow that up with approximately 5,000 pairs during fall/winter 2017 season. Ultimately, with the scale and speed of Digital Light Synthesis, adidas plans to have more than 100,000 pairs in circulation by the end 2018.
