Kanye West Previews adidas Yeezy 700 V2

Kanye West took to Twitter earlier this afternoon to preview the upcoming adidas Yeezy 700 V2. The second edition of the largely popular Yeezy 700, and a shoe West says he “loves.”

Although certainly of a similar volition as the model’s aforementioned predecessor, the V2 edition also undeniably stands on its own. True to the retro aesthetics currently trending in the sneaker industry, breathable construction adorns much of the body while reflective details aids that design language while equally heightening visibility.

West appears to have much in store with adidas for the remainder of 2018, some of which he shared on Twitter in weeks past. The social media platform, though, has been problematic for West. Many of his thoughts and stream of consciousness state there have proven ill-advised. Yet adidas has affirmed that they have no plans of parting ways with West.

Sheck Wes Previews Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack”

Earlier this week teaser images of the Travis Scott endorsed Cactus Jack Air Jordan 4 took social media by storm. By the looks of it, Scott and his closest collaborators may already have their pairs locked.

This afternoon, Cactus Jack Records signee Sheck Wes took to IG to post a story featuring the “Team Shoes” while hanging out with La Flame on Los Angeles.

No release date just yet, but with more buzz building around this exclusive iteration of the Jordan 4, it’s safe to expect a spotting of these this weekend with all the Coachella festivities. Check out some more images of the sneaker below.

Ibn Jasper Previews Upcoming adidas YEEZY 700

If the first few months of 2018 are any indication, Kanye West is gearing up to release quite a few YEEZY 700 colorways. After debuting a new pair earlier this week while out in Calabasas, Ye’s good friend Ibn Japser took to IG to reveal another.

While the pair on Ye’s feet were extremely earthy in plum, Japser’s reveal is a much more minimal. Largely fitted in white with light shades of grey also present, this style looks to be in line with spring/summer while the former clearly odes to fall/winter. In addition, it also appears to pack the even chunkier V2 styling.

Take a first look at this upcoming adidas YEEZY 700 below and stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more.

Agenda Report // G-Star RAW Previews Fall 2018 Footwear Collection

Coming off their vastly impactful collaborative offering with multi-disciplinary, Pharrell Williams, which champions sustainability, individualism and cultural diversity, G-Star RAW looks ahead to fall with a new footwear offering that both teeters the line of past design expression and contemporary aesthetics guided by modernism and function.

Keeping with traditional cool weather silhouettes, a lightweight yet high-arching boot emerges as the most progressive model we sampled. An inner bootie serves as a seamless measure to get into the boot alongside ensuring increased comfort thanks to the neoprene fabrication. The shoe’s rich nubuck is finished in an alluring shade of navy, which is slightly offset by a smooth leather eyestay and corresponding heel tab. Construction of the boot’s midsole uniquely appears compartmentalized, lined around the toe and front foot while the quarter panel and heel is visibly more direct.

In a more foundational sneaker approach, G-Star RAW also revealed a budding low-cut style with great shaping and midsole curvature. Seen here in white – although there are black and grey options, too – paneled detailing adds depth to the upper while a padded ankle collar promotes comfort at the foot opening. Smartly, the lip of the outsole curves upwards at the heel, giving the silhouette greater distinction and profile.

Each of these styles – and several others of a similar volition – are set to release this August in line with the brand’s fall 2018 collection. Take a detailed look below and stay tuned for more from G-Star RAW and Nice Kicks at Agenda Long Beach.

Off-White Previews New Sneakers

With the year winding down and a continuous flurry of kicks still releasing from major sportswear brands, luxury sneakers are reluctantly taking a backseat due to expense. While the Balenciaga Triple S sneaker has been all of the hype, getting endorsements from your favorite rappers and stylists in 2017, and the SS18 Louis Vuitton sneaker is also garnering attention, the price point for many of our favorites in the luxury category has us all wishing we could print money ourselves.

Saint Laurent, Golden Goose, Gucci and Louis Vuitton won’t take no for an answer, amongst others in the realm of luxury shoes. Well, add Off-White to that list if you hadn’t already as they plan to release an array of new sneakers going into 2018 varying from the Off-Court to the Diagonal Low.

It’s enticing enough that the sneakers are Made in Italy and don a variety of colors ranging from a nude hue, a monotone white, neutral black and a bright orange with checkerboard pattern that’s synonymous with the imprint.

Could this onslaught of Off-White sneakers be all the craze in the new year? We’re sure to find out. Be on the lookout for more info from the man himself, as his “Temperature” collection, which the sneakers seem to be a part of, are available for pre-order right now.

Kanye West Previews adidas “Calabasas” Sneakers

Kim Kardashian has been cleverly cautious regarding a joint collection with her husband, Kanye West, circling a Calabasas theme.

While in attendance at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party in New York City Friday night, West was seen in adidas Calabasas gear, which also confirms that the line comes in more than just kids’ sizes.

On Kanye’s feet was a pair of the adidas Power Phase, a vintage tennis model from the 80’s. What’s unique is that the shoe is outfitted with Calabasas stamped at the quarter paneling. So while this doesn’t actually look to be a Yeezy collaborative shoe, it does signify more is coming with the Calabasas name. Stay tuned.

John Geiger Previews Star Studded Nike Air Force 1 Releases

Nike’s efforts to remaster the Air Force 1 intend to make things very interesting this year. While we’ve already seen several, the Swoosh is certain to have a few surprises up their sleeves as it pertains to their timeless heritage model. But did John Geiger, Darrell Revis’ manager/business partner, just remove the veil on what we can expect to see later this year? Via his IG page, which is a haven for new and unreleased kicks, he unearthed both a blue and white pair (red, too, if you look closely) of Air Force 1 Lows engulfed in stars throughout a monochrome upper. Could they be more remastered releases for 2015? Or possibly an upcoming Independence Day release? At this point it’s all speculation, but stay tuned as we’ll update you with any new details.
