Watch Kyle Projectile Vomit On Wiz Khalifa In The After Party Trailer

Sometimes in order to achieve your dreams, you have to go through some seriously crazy shit. Apparently, no one knows that better than Kyle in his upcoming Netflix movie, The After Party, in which he plays an unknown rapper looking for his big break.

The comedy’s first trailer opens with Owen (Kyle) sampling his skills in front of a bathroom stall in the hopes of landing a record deal — but it turns out he’s pitching the intern (Jordan Rock) rather than the exec. From there, Owen and his “manager” Jeff (Harrison Holzer) continue the hustle, which brings them to the show that’s “gonna get us the deal.” Unfortunately, it ends up being the show where Owen projectile vomits on Wiz Khalifa, then has a mid-set seizure thanks to Wiz’s “incredibly strong weed.”

Owen becomes a viral sensation when he’s trolled as #SeezjahBoy, but Jeff convinces the aspiring rapper that he still has one last shot at legit fame. Enter: the after party, where DJ Khaled, French Montana, Pusha T, and more are practically waiting to discover Owen and give him that record deal. But getting there won’t be easy.

Surviving the hustle is a familiar trope for writer and director Ian Edelman, who created How To Make It In America, the HBO show that followed a group of 20-somethings trying to break into the NYC fashion industry and counted another rapper/actor, Kid Cudi, among its stars.

Teyana Taylor and Teen Wolf‘s Shelley Hennig also star in The After Party, which premieres August 24 on Netflix.

G-Eazy And Charlie Puth Party Through The Decades In New ‘Sober’ Video

G-Eazy broke out the costume trunk for his latest video, rocking throwback looks from decades past for the Charlie Puth-assisted “Sober.”

The Colin Tilley-directed video kicks off with a bloodied and bruised Eazy waking up in a pile of trash, seemingly suffering a hellish hangover. He stumbles into a building that turns out to be a kind of portal, and spends the rest of the vid traveling through time. First he downs beer in the Prohibition Era, then he’s a horny husband in the ‘50s, and then he’s a long-haired hippie reveling in a psychedelic ‘70s house party. The vid comes full-circle after Eazy’s transformation into a ‘90s rave kid who runs from the cops and eventually finds himself landing in that same pile of trash.

Puth, meanwhile, doesn’t get too involved in the chaos, only appearing to sing the chorus from atop a roof in a junkyard. Bummer for him.

“Sober” follows the Halsey collaboration “Him & I” as the latest single from G-Eazy’s third album, The Beautiful & Damned. For more from the rapper, see him reading his most “extra” Instagram comments in the vid below.

Inside The adidas NYC Xeno UltraBoost Custom Design Party

photos // Jordan Keyser

Live in the concrete jungle that is New York City, adidas threw a midnight party to celebrate the first time XENO technology has ever graced the UltraBOOST. Nice Kicks was on-hand at the 5th Avenue adidas Flagship store for the private unveil event to prepare for the public release on October 20th.

XENO is a light responsive technology from adidas Originals that has evolved from the wilderness of Southeast Asia. In natural light, the black material appears faint with deep shimmers of iridescent colors. But with the flash of a camera, the material explodes with bright colors, spanning the entire rainbow spectrum. The material doesn’t just reflect one color but changes as the angle of the light shifts. The shoe is completely transformed through the lens of a smart phone camera in both video and photos, appearing at first glance as an optical illusion.

This exclusive party featured a mi-adidas customization center, pretzels & popcorn stands, material breakdown stations, live musical performances and best of all, an opportunity to design our very own pair of XENO UltraBOOST. Three main color options were available for the Primeknit in black, white & navy, while XENO cages and heel counters added pop to the otherwise neutral upper. Adding to the moment, adidas also brought black BOOST to the party just in case you wanted to switch your design out of the traditional white.

We can show you better than we can tell you… Browse below for an exclusive inside look at the mi-adidas XENO UltraBoost design party. If you’re looking to earn an opportunity to design your own pair, keep it locked to @adidasNYC or stop inside the store today for more information.

Exclusive // Stephen Curry’s “Splash Party” Under Armour Curry One Birthday PE

NK C 1b

words & images // Nick DePaula:

For the second year in a row, Stephen Curry will take the court on his birthday in fashion, with a player exclusive themed pair from Under Armour just for the occasion.

After wearing a birthday PE of the Anatomix Spawn last year, his first season with Under Amour Basketball, Curry will be rocking this custom variation of his own signature shoe, the Curry One, tonight at Oracle Arena in front of Dub Nation.

Dubbed the “Splash Party” Curry One, the white confetti glow-in-the-dark base upper features festive hits throughout the shoe, like a confetti speckled midsole and sockliner, as well as additional glow-in-the-dark logo hits on the ankle and tongue. The “330” and “510” lace tips represent his Akron, OH birthplace and his current Oakland, CA area code.

His March 14th birthday can be seen celebrated on the tongue lace loop with custom “3|14″ detailing, and you’ll even notice printed sockliner graphics featuring the “Surprise Party” theme. Just like his “BHM” PE, the shoe also features a gleaming true chrome heel counter.

Check out Stephen’s size 12.5 pair below in detail, given to Curry with confetti and a Splash Party invite in the box.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for our Kicks On Court recap of the special sneakers on the hardwood, and happy 27th to Stephen from everyone at Nice Kicks!
