Here’s How John Elliott Wore His Nike LeBron Icon Collab

John Elliott is best known for designing clothes, but he’s also pretty well known for wearing them.

The man managed to show his affinity for both last night as he donned his own John Elliott x Nike LeBron Icon while attending Game 4 of Cavs vs Celtics series.

From head to toe, JE kept it both basic and interesting. A backward Yankees fitted was worn as expected with perhaps the statement piece being a tie-dye oxford as if Jerry Seinfeld listened to Jerry Garcia. From there, cut off jeans set the stage for black crew socks juxtaposing the sail sneakers.

Nike Air VaporMax Utility Gets Neon Sole

Nike continues to mold the Air VaporMax Utility for greener pastures by ironically adding green VaporMax tooling to an upcoming colorway.

Its utilitarian upper appears in a sleek black coat while the jolt of color at the midsole contrasts the noir base. A light pop of red colors the heel tag to punctuate this upcoming Nike Air VaporMax Utility “Neon Green” edition. Stay tuned for release details.

Nike SB Air Force 2 Low Returns with “Escape” Vibes

When Supreme dropped a collection of Air Force 2 Lows we should’ve been smart enough to know there was more from that silo on the way.

While 2 Pac vs. Biggie pairs may feel like a slight reach, this “Escape” referencing release gets it right. Donning the same shades from the famous pack as seen on the Air Force III, this Nike SB Air Force 2 Low release is both unexpected and awesome.

Hearty hues of brown balance out a white upper and black branding, with the best surprise coming in the SB tagging that warrants Zoom Air cushioning. Yes, please.

Pairs are available now for a reasonable $ 95 at Renarts.

Nike Air Max 95 “Lemon Wash” Launches Overseas

Before “Pure Platinum,” “Red October” or “South Beach” controlled colorways, tones were tied to teams. Sports ruled the sneaker game with most models made to wear on court with uniforms or at best casually with fan gear.

The recently released Nike Air Max 95 “Lemon Wash” sees another retro runner from the Swoosh that can’t help us but think about the boys in blue up in Ann Arbor.

With no known nods to the Michigan Wolverines, this collegiate colorway is likely licensed more for lifestyle wear. Shades of yellow shift to navy on the leather upper, with mesh around the tongue and eyelets elevating this wear come warmer weather.

No need for your degree or a Charles Woodson jersey to wear these in 2018. Pairs are available now at SneakAvenue.

Sean Wotherspoon Debuts Nike Air Skylon 2 Retro

Encapsulated Air might be getting its just due — or perhaps more — in the near future with the return of the Nike Air Skylon 2.

Debuted in on-foot fashion on IG by Sean Wotherspoon, the retro runner that could pass for a Jerry Seinfeld PE sees gradient graphic and nostalgic font paying homage to the sleeper silo rumored to be redressed soon by Jerry Lorenzo.

While release details are far from firm yet alone known, this summer would be a good bet for the Nike Air Skylon 2 to relaunch. Keep it locked to Nice Kicks for updates.

Nike Air Max 90/1 “University Red” Releasing Soon

Hybrid sneakers aren’t exactly a science. Sometimes they work and other times they don’t. Nike, for the better part of the last two years, has grown extremely proficient at melding iconic styles together to evoke newness. They’ve come to understand what sneakers to join and how exactly to pair them together.

The Nike Air Max 90/1 is about as subtle a hybrid as you’ll see. Not nearly as overt as, say, the Air VaporMax Plus, this matrimony pits an Air Max 1 upper above Air Max 90 tooling with relative ease. There’s very little that feels contrived here; someone partial to either shoe could still appreciate this one as they feel right at home in traditional mesh and suede fabrication alongside OG blocking.

Initial reports pinned the Nike Air Max 90/1 “University Red” for a fall 2018 release. However, it appears the shoe may drop before climate returns to a chill. Stay tuned for more on this impending release.
