Exclusive // COOGI x Puma Clyde Looks Even Better On Foot

photos & words // Ray P.:

Who knew that 23 years later the lyrics of Notorious BIG would still be as relevant as they were in the 90’s. The memorable line rapped on the song One More Chance (Remix), “I stay COOGI down to the socks,” is the first thing any Hip Hop aficionado would think about when laying eyes on the upcoming COOGI x Puma Clyde sneaker due out on March 9th. Subsequently, this shoe coincides with the 20th anniversary of the late Rapper’s death.

Nice Kicks partnered with Puma to give you an exclusive on-foot look at the beautiful collaboration where no two pairs are alike. The material on each Puma Clyde was directly sourced from actual COOGI sweaters. Rounding out the shoe is nubuck throughout the logo sidestripe and gold accents on the lace tips and eyelets. Browse below for the best look yet.

The COOGi x Puma Clyde will be available March 9th at select retailers such as at PUMA Lab powered by Foot Locker, KITH, Jimmy Jazz, Barneys and Nice Kicks LA.

The Nike KD 7 Lifestyle Looks to Strong Native American Influences

After its launch this summer, the Nike KD 7 silhouette receives a mid-top lifestyle counterpart drawing influence from Native American textile themes. Decorating the upper is a bright tan suede fixed with streaking leather strips resembling the aesthetic of embedded Dynamic Flywire. A salmon insole and Native American-inspired designs at the pull tab add a dash of color to the model as a gum bottom outsole finishes the rustic look. Set to release later in the year, anticipate the Nike KD 7 Lifestyle to be available at Nike accounts wordwide.
