Air Jordan XXX1 “Veterans Day” PE // Closer Look

adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 “Chinese New Year” // First Look

By many estimations, adidas Ultra Boost “Chinese New Year” releases this year have been some of the best Boost-enabled drops of 2016. We tend to agree. It looks as if that trend will continue with a first look today at the upcoming Ultra Boost 3.0 “CNY” edition.

Embracing the aesthetically pleasing new Primeknit construction, the multicolored upper, accenting black cage support, patterned laces and liner all manifest something great, something everyone will want and something we’ll continue to talk about until they release. Right now, a date for the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 “Chinese New Year” is unknown. But keep it locked to Nice Kicks for more details as they emerge.

First Look // COOGI x Puma Clyde Collection

photos & words // Ray P.:

The late and great Biggie Smalls would be proud of this upcoming COOGI x Puma Clyde collaboration. Set for a Spring 2017 debut, both brands capture nostalgia perfectly by combining two heritage products for a limited edition release.

The iconic Puma Clyde will arrive in two iterations, one as loud as the traditional COOGI sweater and the other features a minimal look with a black upper sitting atop a translucent sole. What makes this collaboration unique is that no two shoes will look alike. The fabric used for the sneakers come directly from actual COOGI sweaters. Take an exclusive closer look at the COOGI x Puma Clyde collection below and stick with Nice Kicks for release details in the near future.

Air Jordan XXX1 “Space Jam” // First Look

This December, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” will return as a retro for the first time since 2009. Originally released back in 2000, the shoe continues to inspire other Air Jordan models, including the latest in the lineage – the Air Jordan XXX1.

Featuring an infusion of patent leather to drive the home inspiration, the Air Jordan XXX1 “Space Jam” highlights black and concord shades across the upper and Jumpman branding.

While no official Jordan Release Date is currently available, like the Air Jordan XXX1 has done with the Air Jordan 1 in recent months, this pair could very well release at the same time as the “Space Jam” 11’s if not extremely close to it. Stay tuned for further release details and better imagery to come.

Best Look at the $400 Air Jordan 11 “Suede”

Although it doesn’t look to carry the now adoring Pinnacle moniker, this premium Air Jordan 11 “Suede” certainly resides in a similar price range with a $ 400 retail cost.

Doused with a heavy infusion of Cool Grey suede across the mid-cut silo, this monochromatic style is finished with a sail midsole matched alongside a translucent outer. The $ 400 cost will accompany the shoe when it lands at select retailers this holiday season. Stay tuned for a Jordan Release Date.

Nike KD 9 “Texas” // First Look

Keeping college ties strong, the Nike KD 9 “Texas” sees the latest Kevin Durant signature take on burnt orange branding for a sharp look. Laced in a white Flyknit upper, this team take is simple and effective thanks to the shoe’s technical prowess and clean silo. Right now it’s tough to tell if these are a PE or will eventually hit retail, but in either event the Texas Longhorns Men’s Basketball Team are the first to have this pair.

NikeLab Air Unlimited Black/White // Another Look

Worn by all-time greats like David Robinson, and Grant Hill and Jason Kidd during their respective runs at Duke and Cal, the Nike Air Unlimited is back for the first time. And to celebrate this bringback that fans have been waiting a lengthy period to see, NikeLab is getting involved to release a few premium executions of the high arching hoops silo.

This monochromatic black and white edition denotes a premium black leather upper coupled alongside a slightly off-white midsole. Matching in tonal expression the “Cyber Monday” 3’s due out this weekend, this seems to be a popular palette for Nike/Jordan Brand at the moment, perfectly capturing sartorial a moment in time.

Air Jordan 6 “Dust Purple” // First Look

“Black Cat” 6’s are among the most desired Jordans around. It’s a look that has become as popular as it is elusive. And while the wait for that model continues, this monotone “Dust Purple” pair serves as a solid placeholder for grade school footers.

The dark purple shade engulfs the Air Jordan 6 from top to bottom, with only a translucent outer to speak as a contrast. No Jordan Release Date for this GS release is readily available, but you can take a first look at the Air Jordan 6 “Dust Purple” below until that time comes.
