Air Jordan 1 Mid Black/Gym Red-Metallic Gold

The oft-remixed Air Jordan 1 Mid is seen re-designed once again, this time in a Black/Gym Red-Metallic Gold colorway. Tumbled leather panels wrap up the exterior of the silhouette, where black serves as a canvas. Metallic gold holds it down as a secondary hue, including the embroidered patch Swoosh, which is outlined in gym red. Completing the kick is the use of a cool tone of blue for the inner lining and warm gym red on the outsole. Check out the finer details of the shoe in the photo set below, and hit up Caliroots if you’re sold on them.

Air Jordan 5 “Air Minion” Custom

This new Air Jordan 5 “Air Minion” Custom is anything but despicable. Epitomizing the Despicable Me blockbuster’s famous Minions, this one of one is packed with appropriate details. Brought to life by Sekure D, the “Air Minion” was an instant project after the Air Jordan 5 “Laney” recently released. Maintaining the shoe’s varsity royal and maize midsole and ice blue outsole, the toe box is colored blue in the shade of the Minion’s apparel. The little critters’ yellow skin color tones the rest of the upper and laces. Detailing is seen on the Minion hairs around the ankle collar, their uniform branding tags on the toe box, and a set of goggled eyes on the heel. Kicks On Court: Tony Wroten Rocks “French Blue” Air Jordan 12

76ers guard Tony Wroten has been relentless with his kicks on court this season, and as he stated in a recent conversation with him, “this is only the beginning.” In Philadelphia’s first loss of the season last night, Wroten brought out the 2004-released “French Blue” Air Jordan 12.

The 12 is one of the most worn Jordan silhouettes in the NBA, but the French Blue colorway is rarely seen. In the past five years, only Nate Robinson (2010-2011) and Derrick Williams (2012-2013) have rocked this shoe on an NBA court.

For Wroten, this marks the second Air Jordan 12 he has worn this season with the other being a custom designed by Mache. View these kicks, plus Draymond Green’s 90s classic and Andre Iguodala’s Hyperfuse Low PEs, below.
