Where To Buy the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” Online

This morning, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” makes its glorious return after sitting on the sidelines for 12 years.  The first release of the French Blue 12s came in 2004 less than one year after Michael Jordan left the game for good. While never officially confirmed by Jordan Brand, it has long been speculated that the “French Blue” colorway of the Air Jordan 12 was created to hook with MJ’s uniform while playing for the Wizards.

This release of the Air Jordan 12 is available for the full family from crib sets all the way up to size 18 for men.  The official release time for the French Blues is 10AM ET (7AM PT) at a number of sites where they will go online for sale.  Nike will release them via the SNKRS app at Noon ET (9AM PT).

Good luck!

Kanye West & French Montana Rock Unreleased Yeezys on “Figure it Out” Set

As hoped for, the release of The Life of Pablo and the unveiling of Yeezy Season 3 appear to be only the beginnings of more music and more footwear from Kanye West. While on the set of the “Figure it Out” video, a collaboration from the new French Montana project that also features Nas, Kanye was all smiles in a pair adidas Yeezy Boost 350s from Season 3. These appear to be the same colorway and styling as debuted by Lil Yachty at the MSG show, though this is just one of many new Yeezy Boost 350 styles seen at or around Yeezy Season 3.

While it’s good to see Ye in new kicks, French may have stolen the show as it appears he’s wearing what people are calling the Yeezy Boost 550. While confirmation from Kanye’s camp or adidas is yet to happen, the model worn by French sees a “Moonrock” motif, but a zoomed in look at the upper sees these adding an eyelet and going above the ankle. Aside from that, construction and styling are linear with that of the 350. In addition, Wex re-grammed this same photo from @teamkanyedaily with the hashtag #unreleased though that could apply strictly to the Season 3 350s.

If these are the 550s, is the modified silo an improvement or a let down? Conversely, do you prefer the striped upper of the Season 3 Yeezy Boost 350s to prior releases? Check out zoomed in views of the IG shot spotted at Illroots below and keep it locked to Nice Kicks for more adidas Yeezy release info.

**BONUS** French also took to his snap to show the all-white adidas Yeezy Boost 350s from Season 3. While he says “they’re never coming out” we’re still hoping and thinking otherwise as they’ve already been both previewed and worn by Kanye himself. KR3W Denim presents its latest installment of Rights Refused, this time featuring artist and illustrator Richard ‘French’ Sayer. The video follows Sayer as we travel from his new home in Melbourne to his studio, where the South England native talks about his illustration roots and how the UK music scene has impacted his life and work. Sayer’s artwork has influences from religion, military, politics and skate culture, while his inspirations include an assortment of artists from the Victorian era of the British empire to Iron Maiden album covers. Delve into the world of French Sayer and check out the video above.

Air Jordan 7 “French Blue”

As mentioned previously, Air Jordan plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a year of remastered sneakers that feature higher quality materials and sturdier constructions. While the AJ4 “Columbia” will be the first to release in 2015, the Air Jordan 7 “French Blue” will follow suit shortly after. Originally released in 2002, this rendition of MJ’s seventh signature sneaker sees a mostly white upper with various blue and grey hues mixed in throughout. The Air Jordan 7 “French Blue” is slated to release January 24 at select retailers for $ 190 USD.

Kicks On Court: Tony Wroten Rocks “French Blue” Air Jordan 12

76ers guard Tony Wroten has been relentless with his kicks on court this season, and as he stated in a recent conversation with him, “this is only the beginning.” In Philadelphia’s first loss of the season last night, Wroten brought out the 2004-released “French Blue” Air Jordan 12.

The 12 is one of the most worn Jordan silhouettes in the NBA, but the French Blue colorway is rarely seen. In the past five years, only Nate Robinson (2010-2011) and Derrick Williams (2012-2013) have rocked this shoe on an NBA court.

For Wroten, this marks the second Air Jordan 12 he has worn this season with the other being a custom designed by Mache. View these kicks, plus Draymond Green’s 90s classic and Andre Iguodala’s Hyperfuse Low PEs, below.
