The “Mini Swoosh” Returns on the Nike Air Force 1 Low

Incredibly Ekin steeze, the not-so-famed but still appreciated Mini Swoosh branding has returned to the Nike Air Force 1 Low.

Seen with higher praise on the Air Max 1, the toe-box touch taps an Uptown full of Ralph Lauren vibes. Will the Mini Swoosh bring the Big Pony out of the stables? Giddy up, these just might.

Already available overseas but since sold out at Billy’s, peep this pair in the photos below.

Nike Air Force 1 High Releases in Two New Colorways

The ongoing renaissance of the Nike Air Force 1 stays the course with new releases of its high-cut variation. Two new styles clearly assert themselves in ode to the heritage of the silhouette and its foundation in sport.

Rendered in Blue/White and White/Red colorways, each style highlights gold lace tips and a matching lace jewel. Basketball flavored gum bottoms find placement at the outsole while the upper is best defined by accentuated lines that trace the shoes paneling.

Both of these Nike Air Force 1 High colorways can be seen in further detail and purchased at Unheardof.

NikeLab Adds Animal Prints to New Women’s Air Force 1 Lows

The Nike Air Force 1 Low has come a long way since Bruce Kilgore first put pen to pad during his design process back in the early 80’s. Currently in a renaissance of sorts, the modernizing of the former court shoe is on a collision course with high fashion.

NikeLab maintains that aesthetic with four budding animal printed Air Force 1 Lows for the ladies. Consisting of zebra, cheetah and leopard faux printed iterations, each sees black leather Swoosh branding attached to Sail midsoles.

This vibrant new Nike Air Force 1 Low collection hasn’t yet arrived Stateside, but international shops like SVD have pairs available now.

Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” Retro Releases This Week Exclusively at Kith

Originally released back in 2001 and widely revered among the best Air Force 1 colorways in the silhouette’s decorated history, the “Linen” returns this week at one key retailer.

Just a few minutes ago, Ronnie Fieg announced that Kith would release the 2016 Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” retro this week as a global exclusive. It’s unclear how many pairs will be available or what the retail cost will be, but considering the demand for a grail of this stature, don’t expect the supply to be anything close to a general release.

There have also been rumors that a limited run of 50 pairs will release in Miami for Art Basel this week. This, of course, could be a part of a Kith Miami pop-up shop, but no details have been confirmed at this time. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more.

Custom Sneaker // Nike Air Force One High “misBAPEdsta” by Mateo-Acrylics

Last year, John Geiger and The Shoe Surgeon took the sneaker industry by storm as their joint creation of the “Misplaced Checks” series drew the admiration of many. However, it seems as though it’s not only providing gratification, but rather lends itself to become a muse as the custom artist Mateo-Acrylics has recently unveiled his “misBAPEdsta” Nike Air Force One High Custom.

Utilizing a white base, this model fuses “misplaced” accents along the ankle collar and cascades down into the side panel. Furthermore, Mateo-Acrylics employed leather and suede laces within the custom as the iconic BAPE camouflage print is seen along with adjoining imagery, while resting on top of a yellow outsole.

All in all, this is a strong showing from the Miami native, who has an Instagram account full of gems. To see more, check out his work.

Nike Air Force 1 High “Gym Red”

Resting alongside its equally alluring counterparts of the “Color of the Month” Pack, the Nike Air Force 1 High “Gym Red” offers the adverse effect of the highly coveted “Nai Ke” Air Force 1’s that released in China earlier this year.

This style focuses on bold leather construction engulfed in Gym Red coloring with contrast Swoosh branding in white. Where things get interesting, though, is at the heel as embroidered Chinese lettering play towards the “Nai Ke” edition referenced above.

Give the Nike Air Force 1 High “Gym Red” a closer look courtesy of Livestock below. Expect the in-store and online arrival on October 16.
