Nike React Element 55 Adorns Fall Tones

It is now beyond assumption that the Nike React Element 55 will be among the most popular sneakers of the fall/winter season. Previewed on multiple occasions in varying iterations, season-appropriate styles are beginning to surface including this rich brown pair.

Officially labeled “Particle Beige,” you won’t find the Element 87’s tech savvy translucent material here. Instead, a mesh and synthetic build champions this cool weather wear which is contrasted by a navy blue Swoosh with matching outsole tooling.

Priced at $ 130, expect this Nike React Element 55 “Particle Beige” later this fall.

photos // Rob Mata

After taking the two spot in our 25 Best Releases of the Year So Far List, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Element React 87 sees the upcoming collaborative debut of the React model on the rise.

Shown in white, this rendition relies on the same translucent tooling as the inline pairs with the energy return foam finding footing in the midsole. White laces peppered with 3m hits add flash, while a taupe Swoosh and red piping offer an aesthetic that’s as mature and rustic as it is sporty.

Check out a preview of this pair currently housed by @lacenpace in the photos below.

Element London Store Opening

London’s skate and streetwear scene just got a big addition in the form of ELEMENT opening its new flagship store at the heart of Covent Garden. Occupying a 2,800 square-foot space, the store is spread over three floors stocking the brand’s entire selection of men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel, in addition to accessories and footwear. Also available are key seasonal product highlights, such as the Fall 2014 Wolfeboro jacket range. The Element Basement below the main floor displays a full range of skateboards, hardware, footwear and backpacks, and features a tree trunk that extends upwards into the main floor — a motif of brand’s heritage.

In celebration of the store opening, the launch party presented the “Road to Wolfeboro” photo exhibition by Brian Gaberman and a live music performance by Bastien Duverdier and team rider Ray Barbee.
