CrossFit Athlete Mat Fraser Gets His Own Nike PE

Just like greats on the hardwood and gridiron, CrossFit champion Mat Fraser is getting his own Nike sneaker.

Dubbed the Nike Metcon 4 “Mat Fraser,” the sneaker sports a jet black upper and gum mid and outsole. Fraser’s love for weightlifting and motorcycles can be seen throughout the shoe as the upper has a diamond grip pattern similar to a barbell. The motorcycle detailing can be found with the bull’s skull on the tongue, quilted lining, gunmetal chrome on the heel and laces tips.

Another noticeable detail are the two circles on the back heel, which represent Fraser’s first-place medals in the CrossFit Games. Fraser’s personal mantra of “hard work pays off” (HWPO) is written on the insoles.

“These design elements are really about celebrating some of my passions inside and outside of the gym,” Fraser said. “This shoe gives me such sense of accomplishment. It really gets me amped up to keep doing what I’m doing — working hard and trying to make myself the best athlete I possibly can.”

Fraser will debut his sneakers in the 2018 CrossFit Games on May 27 and the  Nike Metcon 4 “Mat Fraser” will be released on June 8 for $ 150 on

LeBron Rocks Nike Air Force 1 “More Than An Athlete” Makers Custom Before All-Star Game

Still incensed by the comments Fox News’ Laura Ingraham made about him, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James sent a direct shot to her choice words with his choice of footwear before the 2018 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday.

Wanting to let Ingraham and his other critics know that he won’t “shut up and dribble,” James wore a custom pair of Nike Air Force 1 that had “More Than An Athlete” written one one side, deriving from the 90/10 custom creations from Nike’s Makers of the Game space in LA.

Joe Haden Unveils First PE as a Jordan Brand Athlete

With training camps and the preseason finally over, plenty of NFL fans are chomping at the bit to get to Thursday. Why Thursday you might ask? Well, Thursday marks the start of the 2015 NFL season as the recently adjudicated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots take on Big Ben and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, despite the exciting action involving one AFC North team, it’s another prominent figure within the same aforementioned division that is generating headlines himself; and that’s Joe Haden. Recently inking a deal to become a member of the Jordan Brand, Haden recently showcased his first PE as a member of the proud lineage. Utilizing the Air Jordan 7, we see Cleveland Browns hues throughout the upper, along with Haden’s initials and numbers canvassing the inner lining.

With a variety of players donning this silhouette throughout preseason such as Dez Bryant and Michael Crabtree, this season of Gridiron Kicks will certainly be a treat as some of the NFL’s finest continue to flaunt notable kicks.
