Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg Celebrate With Drake At LA Tour Stop

Would You Like A Tour?…with guest appearances from Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg? If there were still any lingering rumors that things were sour between Drake and Young Money’s first lady, he put all of that to rest when Nicki joined him on stage in Los Angeles on Monday night (November 25).

Nicki joined Drake to perform “Make Me Proud,” after a very grand introduction. “Los Angeles, make some noise for one of the most beautiful, talented women in the entire world, Ms. Nicki Minaj,” he told the crowd.

Snoop also made his way to the stage, showing some West Coast love with a medley of “The Next Episode,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” and “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang.” “This guy right here is one of the most important people, not only in music, but just in the world, one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life,” Drizzy told his fans.

In September Drake addressed his relationship with Nicki Minaj, telling MTV News, “That line in ‘Tuscan Leather’ isn’t exactly where I am in my life right now but like a year ago…eight months, seven months ago, it was how I felt,” he said. “I’d done something wrong and I wasn’t speaking to her.”

Since then, thing shave been resolved. “I think the dialogue actually between us was already opened up,” Drake said. “I had already solved that issue. I wrote that a while ago and I kinda felt guilty changing it. It was a sentiment that I had when I started this album and felt like that’s how it should be. The album should start one place and end in another.”

Suge Knight Says Dre Got Too Much Credit For Producing Doggystyle

Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle not only solidified Snoop as a bona fide star, but helped to cement Dr. Dre as hip-hop’s most celebrated producer. According to Death Row co-founder Suge Knight, all of the musical credit shouldn’t go entirely to Dr. Dre. “[It] was was pretty much luck. Everybody thought [Dr. Dre] would be doing the records, but Daz pretty much did the whole album,” Suge told RollingStone.com in an interview that was published on Monday.
