A footwear master has unfortunately past away at the age of 94. Nathan Clark, great grandson of James Clark who began the Quaker Footwear in 1825, is most famous for designing the now iconic desert boot. Inspired by the footwear of desert fighters in Burma during WWII, Nathan Clark’s suede chukka, has become a symbol of classic cool and streetwear maturity. Furthermore, along with the Wallabee, it helped propel Clark’s into a all out global force.

With as legacy most can only dream of, Nathan Clark will be sadly missed by all footwear enthusiasts.
